British Virgin Islands Fleet
The British Virgin Islands fleet offers you sailing charters
on immaculately maintained monohulls or catamarans. Our first
class service on all of our sailing charters in the BVI is
second to none. If you have never sailed the British Virgin
Islands before, you are in for a treat. White sand beaches,
gentle trade winds, crystal clear waters and friendly people
wherever you go. If you have visited our island paradise before,
then come and revive faded memories or discover new ones.
It is truly a sailors’ haven.
The British Virgin Islands consist of approximately 50 islands
and cays, the most populated of which are Tortola and Virgin
Gorda. Horizon Yacht Charters’ base is located at Nanny
Cay Marina in Tortola, three miles west of Road Town, the
capital of the BVI. Tortola is easily accessible from the
USA, UK and Europe via Puerto Rico, Antigua or St Thomas in
the nearby US Virgin Islands (just a short, scenic ferry ride
away).
Nanny Cay Resort and Marina offers every comfort before and
after your charter. A shore-side pool, two restaurants, tennis
court, beach with snorkeling reef, boutiques and provisioning
store plus reasonably-priced, comfortable accommodation at
Nanny Cay Hotel are all within a few steps of your boat.
The British Virgin Islands are considered by many to be the
perfect destination for first-time charterers, with calm seas,
constant trade winds and line-of-sight navigation. Experienced
sailors will also enjoy the wealth of different islands to
visit, including the coral island of Anegada. There are hundreds
of anchorages to explore in the BVI. Overnight mooring buoys
are available in many locations and there are plenty of attractive
beach bars and restaurants around the islands.

Conditions Apply to all Charters
Rates shown above are for 7 nights per vessel (min
5 nights except Christmas and New Year). Additional
daily hire rate available should you wish to add nights.
Charters start and finish at noon. Sleepaboards (the
option of staying on board your yacht at the dock) with
boarding of your vessel available after 5.00 pm, can
sometimes be added to the start of your charter at an
extra charge of $75.00 per cabin per night (minimum
of $150 pn.), depending upon yacht availability.
Extras:
Hull Damage Waiver Insurance
US$40 per day (max $400) and limits your liability
to $500.00 REFUNDABLE security deposit on yacht (please
note liability is $1000 on dinghy and outboard). HDW
insurance, Cruising Permits and National Parks Permit
are payable before departure from the dock in cash or
travelers' cheques. Upon return of the vessel you are
required to top off the water and fuel tanks, which
you receive full upon boarding the vessel.

Bookings and Cancellations
We require a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation and the
balance due of 50% should be received no later than 56days
prior to charter start date. A full refund less a $200.00
administration fee is given should the reservation be canceled
in writing up to 90 days prior to the charter start date.
Trip Cancellation - Since cancelling a holiday can be a costly
affair - we strongly recommend that you take out trip cancellation
insurance.
